Today started out with a little bit of a speed bump because
we hadn’t been able to lock up our interview with Twin Smokers BBQ. So to stat
the day out we headed over to Lovett to talk to Mr. Silverman about the camera,
to make sure we had everything ready for our first day of filming. Well we
weren’t able to get our interview with Twin Smokers due to their very busy
schedule, but we still made the most of our day. We drove down to our next
interview site, “Anne’s Snack Bar”, to speak with the manager about setting up
an interview for tomorrow. After that we stopped at a near by BBQ restaurant to
see if it would be a good choice for an interview. But we decided against it
because it was too close to Anne’s. Mr. Newman had mentioned to me that Krog
Street Market would be a great place to visit, so we drove down to Krog Street
to see what it had to offer. After walking around and filming some of the sites
of Krog Street, we talked to the manager of Grand Champion BBQ, and locked up
an interview for eleven o’clock on Thursday. We are so excited to work here
because it is such an alternative place for a BBQ restaurant to be, and it
would be a great place for our friends and family to visit. So today we locked
up two interviews, visited some possible sites, and did some of the extraneous
filming that we won’t have to do tomorrow, so it was a pretty successful day.
